The Four Pillars Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization with a mission to provide charitable support for worthy causes such as educational, scientific, and religious purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (or corresponding section of any future Federal tax code). The Four Pillars Foundation was incorporated in 2007 and is governed by a nine-member, voluntary Board of Trustees.
The Four Pillars Foundation has established quite a track record of growth in support of scholarship and worthy causes. The organization serves the greater Plainfield and central New Jersey community. In partnership with the Omicron Chi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, it has annually funded college scholarships for graduating high school seniors. The Omicron Chi Scholarship Committee provides due diligence in soliciting, screening, evaluating, and selecting high school candidates for scholarship awards.
College continues to be the key for students to go out into the world, become productive citizens, and leaders of tomorrow. “The goal of the Foundation is to make tomorrow a better place for all by investing in our young people today.” The following are brief highlights of activities:
Through 2017, the Four Pillars Foundation has provided over $70,000 in merit scholarship awards. These scholarships have been awarded to over 80 area students to help defray academic expenses.
